XStick(TM) Mouse

The mouse is the main interface tool to the XStick(TM) GUI. It is used to control most of the features:

The shape of the mouse cursor changes while in various modes in the XStick score to indicate the "drawing" mode the user is in. Passing over changeable components of the score will cause them to change color to the user-defined highlight color to indicate the active component. Clicking the mouse button on a highlighted item will activate the current mode. In some modes, a popup menu will appear, allowing you to select an alternate value for the note activated.

For users with multibutton mice, clicking the center button, will activate a popup, allowing you to change modes "on the fly". For you Mac folks with one mouse button, CTRL + the mouse button should activate this feature.
