XStick(TM) Keyboard

Being an old DOS/unix kind-o-guy, I've tried to make XStick(TM) as keyboard friendly as possible. Wherever I could I've assigned hot-keys to enable the user to quickly change display and editing modes and launch/close menu items and subscreens. Apparently the style-guides for the Macintosh are against this type of behavior, but it's there on the Macintosh too, to some extent. (The normal Alt-letter underscore used in the Microsoft Windows/X Window environments is NOT done on Macintosh my sources tell me, but I did implement some meta-key assignments into the menus.) The following key assignments are configured for controls other than the menus and underlined button commands (hopefully these are somewhat intuitive, I had a real struggle finding unique key assignments for all the important functions):
