XStick(TM) has a lot of potential to be a useful tool to the Stick(R)
community. It's limitations are really only limited by my ability to
allocate time to it, and my ability to leverage my programming abilities
into something usable by players. This version has added a major piece in
implementing Emmett and Greg's Staff Tab(TM) notation. I'd still like to
get midi and sound capabilities in all three platforms, but so far this
has been a tough nut to crack due to this differences in hardware and/or
the API used to access the hardware. There is talk of bringing this into
Tcl/Tk, and I believe Java also has a sound API now, so it may be do-able
in the near future. For the moment, I think I'm going to focus on fixing
any bugs that get reported back to me on this version and go back to
playing my Stick(R) :^)
